PACCI MEDICAL MISSION
In occasion of World Refugee Day and the inaugural National Refugee Day, June 20, 2024, marked a significant event for PACCI. Dedicated to serving refugees and asylum seekers, PACCI, in collaboration with Watanak Diagnostic Center, organized its first-ever Medical Mission for refugees, asylum seekers, and their families on June 22, 2024.

The Formal Launch of the PACCI Women’s Collective
The formal launch of the PACCI Women’s Collective took place on June 21, 2024, at the PACCI Refugee Resource Center in Malate, Manila City, in line with the occasion of World/National Refugee Day 2024. The half-day event was attended by 15 women refugees and asylum seekers.

CULMINATING ACTIVITY:
PACCI, CFSI AND VOICE, PAVING WAYS FOR CAREER ENHANCEMENT FOR RIGHTSHOLDERS
August 22, 2024, marked a momentous occasion for twenty-three rightsholders, guests and stakeholders as they celebrated the culmination of their basic skills training at the United International Maritime Training and Assessment Center (UIMTAC). The graduation ceremony, held at the SEA Tower Building, 2332 Roxas Blvd. Cor Arnaiz Avenue, Pasay, 1300, Metro Manila, began at 10:00 AM and concluded at 1:00 PM.
Esteemed guests from our partner organizations and the Arab community began arriving at the venue either wearing formal or traditional Filipino attire. Meanwhile, many graduating rightsholders, exuding pride and cultural heritage, also showcased their own traditional garments. A total of 44 individuals attended this joyous occasion.

The Inaugural National Refugee Day in the Philippines, celebrated to coincide with World Refugee Day on June 20, 2024, marked a momentous step toward the country’s implementation of the 1951 Refugees Convention and it’s 1967 Protocol. Organized by the Department of Justice - Refugees and Stateless Persons Protection Unit (DOJ-RSPPU), this historic event aligns with Philippine Government’s commitments and obligations under the Geneva convention.
