Linking and Learning Campfire

April 25 - 28, 2023

In April 25 - 28, 2023, the Campfire event was held at the First Pacific Leadership Academy, Antipolo, Rizal. It was a significant gathering for NGOs to reflect on their collective journey, envision their future, and foster deeper connections. All Voice grantee partners, including those from previous cohorts, were invited to participate, rekindling relationships and strengthening bonds.

The theme of the Campfire was “Mamamalakaya,” which emphasized unity and resilience, represented by the phrase, “Humayo ka sa laot ng ating karagatan. Ang lambat ay ihulog sa dakong kalaliman.” The event aimed to celebrate the collective inclusion journey of all grantees by sharing their narratives, triumphs, and challenges.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Celebrating the collective inclusion journey of all grantees by allowing them to share their narratives, triumphs, and challenges.

  • Strengthening relationships among grantees and facilitating conversations on sustaining their common hopes as a community of inclusion champions.

  • Initiating discussions on community sustainability with a focus on structure and commitment beyond Voice.

  • Honoring remarkable individuals, stakeholders, and collaborative innovations through the Kasama Kasali Awards.
