Global Refugee Forum Progress Review 2025
The Philippine Arab Cooperation Council, Inc. (PACCI) announces its upcoming attendance at the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) Progress Review 2025, a high-level meeting that will assess progress on pledges made during the GRF 2023 and identify next steps to expand support for refugees and host communities.
Convened every four years to advance the implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees, the GRF Progress Review will bring together UN Member States, refugee leaders, civil society organizations, and partners to reflect on achievements, encourage new and updated pledges, and elevate priorities emerging directly from refugee communities worldwide.

CHR Human Rights Education Forum 2025
In celebration of Human Rights Day, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), through the Human Rights Promotion Office (HRPO), organized the 2025 Human Rights Educators Forum on December 10, 2025, at the Human Rights Learning Center, CHR Central Office in Quezon City. The forum was convened to strengthen human rights education in the Philippines by deepening educators’ foundational understanding of key human rights concepts and education frameworks. It also aimed to build capacities in pedagogical and andragogical approaches for effectively integrating human rights into academic and community settings through interactive learning activities, while fostering a sustained commitment among educators and institutions to advancing a culture of dignity, justice, and inclusive education nationwide.

AVP Justice and Peace Basic Workshop with a Special Topic on Trauma and Resilience
The Philippine Arab Cooperation Council, Inc. (PACCI) announces that its Management Committee will be officially out of office from November 22–26, 2025 to participate in the Justice and Peace Basic Workshop with a Special Topic on Trauma and Resilience, organized by the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) International in Tagaytay City. This five-day intensive workshop will bring together PACCI leadership and community peace workers for capacity building on nonviolence, trauma-informed approaches, emotional healing, and cooperative leadership in support of refugees and conflict-affected communities.
